A rather rare find, the D5-Mantis is a compact assault ship built with efficiency in mind. Its small size and three retractable weapons foils make it perfect for quick space battles, and is great for darting in and out of enemy fire with ease. However, its cramped interior might discourage larger squads.

Its two levels contain a medical bay, a cargo hold, and a room built specifically for silent meditation. Although it fares worse in combat situations than many other types of ships, its twin laser cannons and powerful shields can work just fine in a pinch[/ezcol_2third_end]
